Vital Soliton Institute

Understand the design you are living inside.

The Vital Soliton framework describes one architecture that repeats at every scale, from a hurricane to a living body. It gives practitioners the language for what they already see, and gives readers a map of the whole.

Who this is for

Practitioners

Chiropractors, naturopaths, acupuncturists, functional-medicine doctors and health coaches whose results are better than their explanation.

Explain what you do

Readers and patients

People who have done everything right, seen every specialist, and still don't know what they are for.

This is not for you if you are looking for someone to fix you, or if part of you is not sure you want things to change.

The Framework

A pattern, not a pile of parts

Watch a hurricane on a radar screen. Energy and material are drawn inward, a boundary forms where the turning begins, the swirl narrows to a throat, and at its centre sits a calm eye. The same arrangement appears in a whirlpool, a tornado and a living body. The material changes. The arrangement does not.

A Vital Soliton is energy and information held together: a bundle that flows from the universe into matter and stirs that matter into life. There is one at every level, in every cell, tissue, organ and system, all in continuous communication.

  1. STAGE 1

    Field

The ground of energy and information that runs through everything.

  2. STAGE 2

    Medium

Matter becomes a living medium: water, tissue, fluid, signal.

  3. STAGE 3

    Life

Everything the organism does, feels, learns and endures shapes the information.

  4. STAGE 4

    Return

Energy is conserved and information returns complete, altering the field.

Field, medium, life, experience, field. The cycle repeats at every scale.

The mechanistic view sees the machine. The vitalistic view sees what animates it. The framework holds both at once, and uses physics and geometry as an accurate model, never as a claim of new physics. Every claim carries its standing:

The Library

Four books, one framework

Book One

The Vital Soliton

How Coupling Creates Life. The framework from the ground up: two channels of energy, the coupling that makes cells a body, the vortex and its empty centre. 239 pages.

“It explains why you are a pattern and not a pile of parts.”
Complete · with publisher
Book Two

The Flight of the Vital Soliton

The same idea told from the inside, as story. A wave arrives in water, is held, divides, builds a body, and forgets nearly everything it was told. No physics required.

“It's about a wave. It's also, somehow, about my father.”
In progress
Book Three

A Little More Room

What actually helps when you're tired of trying. Sixteen short chapters, no jargon, and one honest week asked of the reader.

“This is the first one that didn't make me feel like the problem.”

Book Four

Two Circles

What holds two people together. Five things that bind a pair, what each one costs, and a compatibility instrument readers can use the same day.

“It explained my marriage without ever mentioning my marriage.”
Complete

Also in the library: Water: The Journey, The Faithful Medium, Deeper Understandings, and a set of practitioner instruments.

For Practitioners

“My results are better than my explanation.”What we hear from chiropractors, naturopaths, acupuncturists and functional-medicine doctors

Your patients get well, and you cannot say why in a way that survives a skeptic, an insurer or your own board. Borrowed words like “energy” and “alignment” cost you credibility as you say them.

The framework gives you structure underneath your language, so you can describe what you do without apologising. It does not replace your techniques. It explains them.

About Dr. Andrew Mowry

“I watched something happen to my father when I was nine years old, and I have been trying to explain it ever since.”

He had been given a fifty-fifty chance of walking again. A week after my mother took him to a doctor in Wisconsin, he came off the plane pushing the same wheelchair that had carried him on, smiling the largest smile I had ever seen on him. My sister had to hug the words out of him: “I don't have any more pain in my legs.”

I wanted to do what that doctor did. I have not stopped chasing it since.

  1. 12

Headaches the family doctor could not explain, until someone looked at the same body a different way.

  2. 30 yrs

In chiropractic practice, I noticed the people who got well believed there was more in them than they were using.

  3. 57

I sold the practice and could not say what I was for. There was nobody to look, so I wrote the books.

Dr. Andrew Mowry leads the Mowry Biophysics Research Group and the Vital Soliton Institute. His work holds two views of the body together: the machine of parts and chemistry, and the life that animates it.

Alongside the books he develops practitioner instruments and the QWRS water research programme.

Speaking & Contact

Bring the framework to your group

Dr. Mowry speaks to practitioner associations, CE seminars, functional-medicine summits and practice-management groups. Talks are built around one question: how do you explain what you do, and be believed?
